ENGLISH VEGETABLE TANNED KIP HIDE FOR MAKING HOODS
Quality tan English kip 1/2 shoulders for making Anglo Indian or Dutch hoods tan color natural. We carry 3.2 – 3.7oz thickness which is best for hood making for medium to large size hawks and falcons. Our kip leather has a nice firmness to it that makes a wonderful leather for making hoods. It is very smooth on the face and also nice a clean and even on the flesh side. This leather is also good for making Boots and custom shoes, bags etc.
Ek006 1/2 hide of English Kip 7 to 8 sq.ft of 3.2 – to 3.7oz.

I ordered a half shoulder of kip and a half roo hide. I was very impressed with the overall thickness and consistency of the leather. Flaws were virtually absent. This leather was used for hoods and equipment. I will be returning for more leather when this runs out.
