The scale in a box idea came from a falconer friend from Germany and has proved to be a great scale for weighting medium to large size hawks or falcons, eagles and Owls and falcons even down to the size of Perlins. The Scale in a box packs up in its own travel safe box that is lined with a soft lining to protect the scale, 10 ¼” H x 10 ¼” L x 5 ¼” W, all fully contained, nice and neat. This scale will weigh anything up to 35 lbs up to 16000g and weighs in pounds, ounces, kilograms and grams. Will weigh grams up to 1lb or 1000g and by 2 grams up to 35 pounds. It runs on four C batteries (not included) or an AC plug-in that we include for free. We have tested this scale are convinced that the Scale in a Box System will be the last scale you will ever need to buy. The top outside of scale is lined with a short type of fine astro turf that works well for all birds to perch on the top of the box when being weighed. Our Scale in the box  is made using the best 1/2″ plywood to make it very strong. It also comes with a nice clear finish on it that will last for many years. As you can see from the picture it works well for eagles. Please note all birds must be set onto the scale Box with care as the scale could tip over.

Our new Scale in the Boxes will come with a Black Scale and they will have more perch coverings on them than the pictures shown now and they will have a clear all natural sealer on the wood to make it hold up and last a long time.
