The tail guard is edged in leather to prevent rubbing on the bird. It is simple to fit, by opening the tail guard, pushing the leather cross onto the tail mounted bell and then wrapping the guard around the tail. To remove, just push the bell and pull the tail guard down and the guard will just slide off.

Tail Guards two sizes

Our new tail guard is handmade to order. It is a semi rigid tail guard, yet flexible enough to allow a little movement and make it more comfortable for the bird to wear.

The tail guard is edged in leather to prevent rubbing on the bird. It is simple to fit, by opening the tail guard, pushing the leather cross onto the tail mounted bell and then wrapping the guard around the tail. To remove, just push the bell and pull the tail guard down and the guard will just slide off.
