A potent combination of Doxycycline and Tylan that is used by thousands of bird fanciers to combat respiratory and related diseases. Highly effective against Chlamydia, Orinthosis, and Mycoplasmosis which are all principal causes of respiratory problems.
Our Doxy-Tyl powder contains 40g Tylosin and 20g Doxycycline per 100 grams.
One 100 gr. packet makes 20 gallons of water. Treatment: I teaspoon per gallon of water for 5-7 days.
Symptoms of Chlamydia psittaci includes inflamed eyes, difficulty in breathing, watery droppings and green urates.
Symptoms of Mycoplasma includes watery squinty eyes, weight loss, green mucusey droppings, and croaking while breathing.

I was so fortunate to find this site, my chickens were horribly sick . Runny eyes croupy breathing eyes closed , they were dying. Excellent product. I knew we likely were dealing with mycoplasma from birds at auction. Then it hit my flock. I knew they had likely contracted it, as I made the mistake of not doing a quarantine on the new birds. And despite removing the sick bird from auction, it hit my flock on day 13 post exposure. I read and read up starting on day after auction when I realized I had brought back 1 sick bird. Ordered this to have on hand just in case and via priority I had it within 3 days of ordering in advance. Almost out of the blue when I started thinking I got really lucky my roo started sounding like he was breathing through a watery straw and coughing/gagging. Like pneumonia sounds. Overnight. When I say without this on hand he was probably toast, and I still was scared. I mean it. This likely saved my whole flock. Day 4 and they can actually function. He sounds 80-90% clear. Continuing our dose, I mix it in 1/2 gallon batches and that works best to keep it fresh for me. So grateful for the quick shipping a day after a holiday and this lifesaving product. I absolutely will keep on-hand, and probably add some other emergency items just in case.
