The Reptile Buddy egg monitor detects heart rates down to 2 beats per minute

The Reptile Buddy egg monitor is used to detect heart rates down to 2 beats per minute.

The Reptile Buddy was developed because a lot of reptile breeders were using the Bird buddy to monitor reptile eggs. This is fine but the cut off point in the bird buddy id around 40 beats per minute. Many reptile egg heart rates are much lower than this.

The Reptile buddy employs the same detection system as the bird buddy…but the reptile machine has been tuned to detect heart rates down to a cut off point of 2 beats per minute… therefor allowing breeders to get the low heart rate needed.

The downside to re tuning the Reptile buddy is that it becomes extremely sensitive – very sensitive! Therefor the machine MUST be used on a solid surface so that no extraneous vibration or noise is present.
