The Merlin systems Mini MX transmitter (3 gram wt with batteries), is a new powerful transmitter with a shorten antenna 6 inches long made from coated 90lb black nylon coated stainless steel.

Our stock frequency is 434UHF. 

This is an excellent size transmitter for use with very small raptors such as Kestrels, Merlins Aplomado size birds. Operating time with two silver oxide batteries is approximately 3 days of continuous operation and gets 20 mile line of site or better. A magnetic tap on & off switch using a small strong magnet comes with each unit. Magnetic fields around power lines or electrical devices do not affect the transmitter.
