Falconry Training
Falconry training is an essential first step in becoming a falconer. The training process is complex and takes many hours of patient practice. Many novice falconers follow the tradition of studying under a seasoned veteran who can share secrets and personally guide the novice falconer in working with the bird.
Falconry is the practice of using birds of prey to hunt for small to medium sized game. Hawks, falcons and eagles are all used for this purpose, and are classified by the size and shape of their wings. Eagles are in the broadwing class of birds and are the largest and most powerful of the birds used in falconry. For this reason, they are usually used by only the most experienced falconers.
